Step 1 - Connect
Once you’ve made contact, we offer an initial free online/phone consultation to discuss your project. We talk about your dreams, needs and wants. We consider your budget expectations and time frame to ensure we’re on the same page and we answer any questions you might have.
Step 2 – Site Visit
We do a pre site visit assessment to review any legislation and planning controls relevant to your property prior to meeting you on site, where we can assess the location and surrounding area to get a sense of the space and what you want to achieve.
Step 3 – Contract
When you are ready to proceed, we ask you to sign a Preliminary Agreement to cover the costs and process of design work and approvals up until the Construction Works Contract.
Step 4 – Concept
We will develop one or more concept plans based on your brief, before presenting the final concept design together with an initial cost estimate to make sure this is within your budget before moving forward.
Step 5 – Final Design and Approvals
The final design is developed, and any external consultants are engaged as required such as engineers, town planners, landscape architects, passive house consultants and certifiers etc.
Once all design documentation is complete your project will be lodged for approval with relevant authority as required in accordance with local and government regulations.
Step 6 – Documentation
Detailed construction documentation and interior plans are prepared including electrical and plumbing schedules, joinery elevations, colour selections and finishes schedule. We submit a final cost estimate detailing inclusions, timeline and progress payment schedule.
Step 7 - Construction
We issue a Construction Works Contract to be signed, project planning starts, and you will be given a date for construction to commence.
During construction we are dedicated to your build for the duration of the project and will be on-site every day, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.
