Glamping tents offer a sustainable, less invasive, and cost-effective alternative to permanent secondary accommodations or granny flats, tailored to individual needs and preferences.
This South African safari tent initially housed a family of five during their home build and now serves as luxury guest accommodation. Positioned on an elevated Jarrah timber deck, the northwest-facing tent promotes airflow and prevents dampness. The mosquito-netted flaps can be adjusted to regulate the interior temperature. Fully connected to water, sewer, and electricity, the tent is also equipped with gas heating for added comfort. The deck is supported by a post structure, minimising its impact on the surrounding ground and ensuring it can be easily disassembled, reused, or recycled.
